The 4.8-liter Nissan TB48DE engine was used exclusively in the Nissan Patrol (specifically the Y61 series, including the GR, GU, and Super Safari models).
But this heavy-duty inline-six is often engine-swapped into other heavy 4x4s and project cars (like earlier Patrol Y60 generations or modified Toyota Land Cruisers).
