Yes, as You know, the immobilizer or anti-theft system verifies that the key used to turn the engine on is the correct one.

If the key is not the correct one, this system blocks different actions to prevent the car from starting, seen🤔?

The car’s computer will disable, the fuel pump, gears’ transmission, the ignition coil and/or the injectors, and depending on the electronic immobilizer system, it could also block the steering column which will lock the steering wheel.

When this system is activated, a warning light such as👇 will turn on!

The transceiver, R, reads the data in the key, A, then sends the data to the coordinator, D, to verify whether its the correct data, meaning the correct SCANIA key inserted, seen🤔?
Jumping all whatever nonsense, activities that happen on verifying the key!
Now, the coordinator, D, that has verified the key, it also needs to verify with, E, the engine’s computer, a.k.a. ECU!

If everything matches up, hakuna matata🤷‍♂️!

Don’t forget about that nonsene of rolling codes, jumping codes between, the Engine ECU with Coordinator, and again, the coordinator with key via ‘mchawi’ B, the transceiver!

For the keyless nonsense, continue to imagine a dongle, that ‘farther receives then further’ delivers the key’s data to the coordinator, HAPA UJANJA tu🤷‍♂️!

Yes, this is the standard setup with SCANIA,
…BUT,
…just like other ‘Babylon’ systems, may be to toughen the security on in with some SCANIA’s, before the Engine is allowed to start, MAY BE,  the coordinator (just like a VAG gateway) could be having several other  ‘handshakes’ with other modules on the network🤷‍♂️!

The coordinator, D, is of several versions, and  each with different ujanja! A, D, E, have some password, ama PIN code, that ‘any tool’ can adapted sh*t!
